Jeanne's two adventure novels, "White Lie" and "The Eye of Ra", are now for sale in at least 11 countries worldwide. Although it has only just been published, "The Eye of Ra" has already received three 5-star reviews on Amazon. If you are interested in the mysteries of the Knights Templar, Cathars, Otto Rahn, Rennes-le-Château, the ancient Mystery School of Egypt, Gnosis, the Urim and Thummim, Akhenaten and the Holy Grail legends, then be sure to check them both out! To find an online store near you, visit Jeanne's new website: www.jeannedaout.com.

Also Barnes&Noble are now selling both books on paperback. B&N customers can now buy them online or order them at a nearby B&N store.

Tours:
Apart from writing, Jeanne also takes groups and individuals on fascinating tours through Occitania, southern France. In the past few years, she had the honour of being the private guide for several VIPs and celebrities from around the world.

Many visitors to the Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrénées go home without having had the chance to explore the Land of Oc. Only having seen the highlights, they missed the secrets, the unknown stories. As an official tour guide (guide accompagnateur) in Occitania, Jeanne knows the paths, the unknown places, the stories behind the stories and can explain the underlying history of this turbulent region, that plays such a significant role in her first book, "White Lie".

"I've fallen in love with this land, not just for its incredible history and stunning landscapes, but also because it contains in its sites and power places all the tools I need to explain the deeper layers of ancient knowledge and mystic wisdom, the esoteric basis of Gnosis, the story of the Cathars and Knights Templar and the real cause of the religious conflicts in the Middle Ages that led to the Albigensian Crusades. It is my real-life power point presentation."

The Lure of the Languedoc
In June, Jeanne will accompany author and lecturer Tim Wallace Murphy on an intriguing tour through Occitania. There are still seats available on this unique tour. For more info, go to The Lure of the Languedoc webpage.

Busy busy!

These months have been very busy indeed! I've done many tours through Occitania with readers and several celebs, and have also been able to do some writing. I'm now at chapter 18, more or less halfway through the book.

Here's a sneak preview of the cover of my new book, the sequel to White Lie, which is called "The Eye of Ra".

Special people
There are still those people who, in spite of their busy life, still make time to fight for good causes. Joseph Corré and his mother, Dame Vivienne Westwood, are both running two different fashion empires. Both are extremely busy, but they always make time to fight against the pollution of our planet and not just by giving money. Joe, for instance, is a social activist. They have my respect. And last month I had the honor of being the private guide to Joe and his uncle Stuart, the brother of the late Malcolm McLaren.

Still going strong
For some reason, people have been checking me out by the masses. So as a consequence my star rate has gone up with an amazing 1.232.405 places! Very cool. ;-)!

This Summer I will hopefully finish my book, so I will keep you all posted! Have a wonderful Summer everyone! xox

Updates March 2014

Spring has come early to Occitania and these past few months have been busy indeed! I have written 8 chapters for the sequel and am very excited so far. The subjects are connected with an ancient Egyptian mystery. The book now also has a new title, which I will share with you in due course.

I am also excited to announce that I will be doing a unique group tour with author Tim Wallace-Murphy in September this year, called "The Lure of the Languedoc". Link: http://thelureofthelanguedoc.blogspot.com ~ Join us if you can! :)

Never a dull moment...

It is amazing how so many people came over to Occitania this year and hired me as their private guide. Among them were people who are specialists in certain fields, and who could confirm several details of my research which I used for "White Lie". There were also several celebrities, e.g. Jeopardy show host Alex Trebek and his amazing wife Jean, and singer/songwriter/producer Corjan (photos below).

Starting up the White Lie movie project takes a lot longer than I expected, but we're working on it. Below you can see the promo poster. It will be interesting to see how this project, which seems to have a life of its own, will develop. For instance, who will play the man on the right, Otto Rahn? Only time will tell. ;)

I don't know how many times I have been standing on top of Montségur castle, one of the locations from the book. Here I am standing on the outer wall of one of the Cathar houses. What an amazing place this is...

As I have been taking so many people to the amazing sites here in Occitania, I was able to take some really good photos when I had a moment. Among several others which were taken by clients, I would also like to share some of my favorite photos below. It is an incredible place, this realm of Oc.

Inside the tower of St. Michael in Alet-les-Bains.

The sunflowers of Coustaussa are beautiful both in flower and in seed.

Collioure

The magical square with the head at the Galamus hermitage.

At our home in the woodland garden.

At the African reserve near Sigean/Narbonne. I never dreamed of being so close to wild lions and have the courage to open my window...

Queribus castle in the late October afternoon sun with dramatic clouds behind it. An incredible atmosphere!

The biggest walled medieval town in Europe, Carcassonne, with its 52 towers, never bores me, no matter how many times I visit.

Finding old Greek inscriptions in the ruins of the old monastery at Alet-les-Bains.

It's always nice when the locals start to trust you with their only key to an ancient church.

With a very honored and loved visitor, author/speaker Tim Wallace-Murphy. Our cat Babar immediately liked him. ;-)

It's always fantastic when animals let you come so close and still dare to keep their eyes closed. The French Mediterranean coast of the Camarque and the Roussillon are famous for its many flamingoes that come in from Africa.

Last but not least, an amazing detail in the windows at the St. Nazaire basilica in Carcassonne. Mary is given to Zachariah by her parents. ;-)

Keep on watching this space! I will be back with more news a.s.a.p.

From Occitania, with love... ;-)
